Getting Started in Iron Man Reimagined

Five minutes from spawn to a stable hover, without buying Nanotech on impulse.

Getting Started

Iron Man Reimagined does not hold your hand. There is no quest marker, no tutorial NPC, and no code waiting in a gift box. You spawn on a city map, open a suit menu, and either fly or eat pavement. This guide is the first session we wish the HUD printed. Watch the Mark 0 survival video in the middle of this page if you want to see how even a weak chassis still teaches the loop, then come back to the keys.

Minute one: spawn and call

Press Q. That is the suit menu, not a weapon wheel. Click a free chassis — Mark 2 is the usual recommendation because it is readable, not because it is the fastest. The suit flies in as parts. Do not sprint off a roof while the helmet is still in transit; that is how new players “die during suit-up.” If you are on the Moon later, spam the mask first. That trick is documented on the space guide; you do not need it on Earth.

Eject with N. Destroy leftover armor with X only when you are outside it. Mixing those two keys is the number-one panic in the first hour. K toggles the mask. M is sentry on the current Deltia table (remote the empty shell). If a YouTube video from 2024 swaps K and M, ignore the overlay and trust controls.

Minute two: leave the ground

F toggles flight. Hold movement and look where you want the thrust. B is supersonic once you already have airspeed — mashing B on the sidewalk does nothing useful. C dashes. Shift adds contextual speed on some chassis. You will overshoot towers. That is normal. Cheap suits have low top speed on purpose so you learn momentum before you touch Star Boost.

Minute three: shoot something that is not a teammate

E is repulsors. R is rockets or chest blast depending on the suit. Some older overlays list V for microguns and G/H/J to cycle weapons; those still appear on War Machine and Scavver. Do not judge PvP skill on minute three. The tier list exists because a Mark 2 losing to Endosym is expected, not a skill issue.

Minute four: voice lines

T opens voice commands on PC. Type or say power on, power off, call suit, eject, sentry, destroy suit. These are not codes. They will not grant Robux. They will save you when a hand is off the keyboard.

Minute five: decide whether to pay

You now know enough to read the Game Pass ranking. Advanced Nanotech is 399 Robux: faster suit-up, self-repair, custom weapons, Mark 85 and friends. War Machine & Scavver is 299 Robux: guns and a desert chassis, not a space king. Helios is a group exclusive, not a pass. If you cannot hover yet, do not buy. Practice on the how to fly page, keep the cheat sheet open, and come back.

The video below uses Mark 0 as a teaching chassis — slow, honest, and still enough to learn HUD, mask, and boosters. When you outgrow it, move to the starter roster and then to space. The game has been live since 29 March 2024; nothing in this opener assumes a campaign mission because there still is not one. PvP plus planets is the loop. Learn the keys, then pick a fight you can actually leave.
